                                     JAMES




MAT 4:21  And going on from thence, he saw other two brethren, James the son of
Zebedee, and John his brother, in a ship with Zebedee their father, mending
their nets; and he called them.  

MAT 4:22  And they immediately left the ship and their father, and followed him. 


MAT 10:2  Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first, Simon, who
is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his
brother;  

MAT 17:1  And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother,
and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart,  

MAT 20:20  Then came to him the mother of Zebedee's children with her sons,
worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him.  

MAT 20:21  And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that
these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left,
in thy kingdom.  

MAT 20:22  But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to
drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that
I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able.  

MAT 20:23  And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be
baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand,
and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it
is prepared of my Father.  

MAT 26:37  And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to
be sorrowful and very heavy.  

MAT 27:56  Among which was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James and
Joses, and the mother of Zebedee's children.  

MAR 1:19  And when he had gone a little farther thence, he saw James the son of
Zebedee, and John his brother, who also were in the ship mending their nets.  

MAR 1:20  And straightway he called them: and they left their father Zebedee in
the ship with the hired servants, and went after him.  

MAR 1:29  And forthwith, when they were come out of the synagogue, they entered
into the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John.  

MAR 3:17  And James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James; and he
surnamed them Boanerges, which is, The sons of thunder:  

MAR 5:37  And he suffered no man to follow him, save Peter, and James, and John
the brother of James.  

MAR 9:2  And after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and John,
and leadeth them up into an high mountain apart by themselves: and he was
transfigured before them.  

MAR 10:35  And James and John, the sons of Zebedee, come unto him, saying,
Master, we would that thou shouldest do for us whatsoever we shall desire.  

MAR 10:36  And he said unto them, What would ye that I should do for you?  

MAR 10:37  They said unto him, Grant unto us that we may sit, one on thy right
hand, and the other on thy left hand, in thy glory.  

MAR 10:38  But Jesus said unto them, Ye know not what ye ask: can ye drink of
the cup that I drink of? and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized
with?  

MAR 10:39  And they said unto him, We can. And Jesus said unto them, Ye shall
indeed drink of the cup that I drink of; and with the baptism that I am baptized
withal shall ye be baptized:  

MAR 10:40  But to sit on my right hand and on my left hand is not mine to give;
but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared.  

MAR 10:41  And when the ten heard it, they began to be much displeased with
James and John.  

MAR 13:3  And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter
and James and John and Andrew asked him privately,  

MAR 14:33  And he taketh with him Peter and James and John, and began to be sore
amazed, and to be very heavy;  

LUK 5:10  And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were
partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou
shalt catch men.  

LUK 6:14  Simon, (whom he also named Peter,) and Andrew his brother, James and
John, Philip and Bartholomew,  

LUK 8:51  And when he came into the house, he suffered no man to go in, save
Peter, and James, and John, and the father and the mother of the maiden.  

LUK 9:28  And it came to pass about an eight days after these sayings, he took
Peter and John and James, and went up into a mountain to pray.  

JOH 21:2  There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and
Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two other of his
disciples.  

ACT 1:13  And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where
abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas,
Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and
Judas the brother of James.  

ACT 12:2  And he killed James the brother of John with the sword.
